Shooting day eleven is in the can. That leaves one more day of principal photography. I’m relieved that we were able to complete the schedule on time, but severely saddened that it’s over.

Tonight, we shot the scenes at the morgue with Angus Scrimm, Ted Parks, Brian McLaughlin, Jon Proudstar and Justin Krinkbrink and the scene inside the sheriff office with Angus Young, Nathan Ginn, Greg Sweet, Josh Marcantel, and Jon Proudstar. The setups were easy and the blocking went smoothly – but the room was hot as hell, and I got tired of holding the boompole. Everyone is wrapped for picture except for Nathan Ginn. This includes my former roommate, Josh Marcantel, who is now on a plane back to New York. I’m so glad he asked to stay with me, and I look forward to growing our friendship. He and his girl will be in Lake Charles a couple weeks from now for a wedding. We’ve already made plans to go out while they’re in town. He really enhanced this trip. I’ll miss him.

We have quite a bit to shoot tomorrow, both day and night shots. The goal is to be wrapped by 10PM so that we can start the wrap party at 11.

The wrap party will be at the Shanty on 4th. It’s close to our loft, so I’m pretty happy about the location. They also have pool tables and 200 beers in house; can’t go wrong. I doubt I’ll post tomorrow, unless there is some downtime around lunch. I’ll catch up when I’m back in Lake Charles. Ciao.
