I’m a bit behind on this post, but we’re nearing a picture lock. Vicky and Brian (producers) have both signed off on the cut; Patrick is still massaging it. Once it’s locked down, it goes to John Higgins for color correction. Jason Canfield (who worked on MERCY) is handling the sound design and the score will consist of song by Friends of Dean Martinez. Patrick has scheduled a screening in Tucson late October. Doesn’t look like I’ll be able to make it. I exhausted all my vacation just to get the thing shot. Ken and Christy are going. I’m sure it will be a huge celebration.
Patricks original plan was to build upon each film’s momentum. We thought that MERCY had run its course, but it looks like the hillcrest is still in front of us. We’ve gotton some great news about our little movie and the timing couldn’t be better. I get really anxious when I think about our future projects. Good things are ahead of us.
